Statement of Purpose 

We have been asked to write and research a job which we were interested in and liked the sound of the job field or were very interested in. In my case I chose these jobs in the social media industry. Here is what the job includes:

The first job in the social media industry, I am particularly interested in social media marketing and being a social media manager. This would mean managing an organization's online presence by developing a strategy. I would have to create creative and engaging content and social media strategies. You must manage the handling of all social media channels and develop, launch and manage various new competitions and campaigns that promote the organization /brand.

The other job in the social media industry I'm interested in is a marketing public relations role. This would mean managing perceptions of the brand (how people think about this business). This means i would have to increase peoples awareness of the brand, improve their businesses reputation and attract customers. This can be done using social media and starting to introduce sponsorships and collaborations with celebrities or influencers.

This research report contains 5 major questions: 

1. What are the working patterns of the job like? 

1. Can you work freelance, or would it be a permanent role? 

1. What would my role responsibilities be in each role? 

1. What qualifications will I need? 

1. What routes can I take into this industry?
