Pitch & Proposal
Project Type: Director, Editor and Producer
Project Title: NCM Radio – Station Development
Logline: College Radio For Students Made By Students
Length of show: 30 minutes
Summary:
NCM Radio is a college radio station that is aimed to be set up at Newark College.
After conducting market research with some fellow peers, a lot was realized in terms of when people listen to music, what issues they would like addressed in the station, how long the station is suitable to run and the kind of music people like listening to.
The major use for this college radio is to help media students acquire technical skills necessary for industry. It’s also going to be there for teachers to use as a teaching tool and get important messages sent out.
Other students will have a platform to sharpen their skills in broadcast communication or even handling technical equipment in the studio. The programs will be hosted not only by Eve and I, but also other students!
Rating: PG as it's going to be aimed at teenagers and students
Genre: Radio station, music (pop, poprock, indie), comedy, news, discussion
Themes: entertainment, information
Length: 15-60 Seconds to make sure they’re engaged with what they’re watching.
Similar radio for editing styles: We have looked at Capital and BBC radio 1. BBC radio 1 includes challenge videos like inuendo bingo. We also like capitals Instagram as it has many memes and posts that we like. Also, we took inspiration from Newark radios, breakfast, mid-morning and drive time shows. We are hoping to incorporate these into our radio station and change the times and names to fit the college day and life.
Presenter style: It will be an informal style with music beds and daily college news and games to keep the younger audiences interested.

Trailers of the radio that day, memes, funny videos

Mp.3 or wav and a good quality sound
